It shouldn’t surprise us, but the biggest news of this story to us is that the NFL has a senior vice president of social responsibility. Last summer we learned that the NFL was going to play the black national anthem before the Star-Spangled Banner, and we saw Black Lives Matter painted in the end zones. Now we’re hearing that the NFL is going to pare back the choices of social justice slogans players can wear on their helmets to just six: “End Racism,” “Stop Hate,” “It Takes All of Us,” “Black Lives Matter,” “Inspire Change,” and “Say Their Stories.”
Front Office Sports also reports that the league also plans to bring back the black national anthem, “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” for the 2021 season.
NFL players will be able to choose from six different social justice phrases to wear on the back of their helmets for the 2021 season. https://t.co/tfUMECCvJm

How about: "Personal Accountability"
— Michael Moskaitis (@Tucsonmike520) September 4, 2021
How about "Gun rights are civil rights". Somehow I am guessing that won't be on the approved list.
— Rick Jordan (@RickDJordan) September 4, 2021
How about Babies Lives Matter? Bunch of hypocrites who do NOT value life.

I'd like to suggest "Jesus Saves". I'd watch football again if we can make this happen.

What about support women’s rights
— EllieRyan25 (@EllieRyan25) September 4, 2021
What about stop beating your wives?
When will they stop beating women and getting arrested for weed charges?

Why can't they just promote whatever they want to promote after work like the rest of us?
— KBrady (@KBradyComics) September 4, 2021
Another lost season. Get politics out of sports.

I don't care what they wear. I haven't seen their backs or fronts since before most of them were born. I won't see what they're wearing now either.

So there was actually some committee put together to compile a list of approved social justice phrases.
