Inspector General Michael Horwitz’s report already laid out 17 significant “inaccuracies and omissions”‘ in the four FISA warrant applications filed to spy on Carter Page. Sen. Richard Blumenthal questioned Horowitz Wednesday during the Senate Judiciary Committee’s hearing, and assumed that because the FISA warrant application had been renewed three times, it must have been producing some useful information, right?
Horowitz, however, refused to commit to an answer, saying he wasn’t sure that characterization was entirely correct.
Oof.
Blumenthal: "[FISAs] are renewed because they are producing useful information, correct?"
IG: "Or they should be producing useful information."

By the end of the 4 FISA warrants, there was NO evidence Page was a foreign agent. That means there was NEVER evidence in any of the renewals, so they were ALL fraudulent – in that they weren't updated with any VALID, new info supporting the "Page is a foreign agent" govt stance.

This old bag is trying to justify abuse in the FISA courts if it "produces useful" information.
That should terrify everyone..

I'd say they produced quite valuable information: it uncovered treasonous acts by enemies of the state. I'd say that's quite valuable

Producing useful information for the Hillary campaign and the DNC would be more accurate and precise. Which was the whole intent.

That’s the first real fire Blumenthal ever had to dodge

Good one.
Well, that didn't go the way he hoped

Useful for what, is the question
— Wisconservative (@CarterFliptMe) December 11, 2019
Yes Dick, any spying the government does produces information. The question is, is the information useful and legitimate.

Makes the fundamental mistake no lawyer should ever make. He asks a question he doesn’t know the answer to and gets what he doesn’t want to hear. ? #HorowitzHearing

Sounds like a fishing expedition to us.
