Ezra Klein thinks 'capitalist' Elizabeth Warren emphasizes ideas for growth and competition, not redistribution

Vox founder Ezra Klein thinks it’s more confusing than helpful to think of Elizabeth Warren as a capitalist and Bernie Sanders as a socialist — even though Sanders is a card-carrying socialist and not even a Democrat.

“A better cut” is that she’s a lefty promoting economic growth while he’s emphasizing redistribution? Seriously? Warren has promised damn near free everything — universal Pre-K, universal free college, universal childcare — along with the elimination of 95 percent of student loan debt, and she’s going to do it by imposing a 2 percent wealth tax on the wealthiest families in the country.

How is that capitalism or growth or competition?

Yes, putting the entire private health insurance industry out of business is the perfect example of promoting growth and competition.

We’d love to see “capitalist” Elizabeth Warren in a debate with Donald Trump about growth and competition.
