Sen. Jean Shaheen warns that young Granite Staters could be disenfranchised by photo ID law

Please, Democratic candidates for president, you’re her only hope! Sen. Jean Shaheen of New Hampshire is calling on all the 2020 hopefuls to raise their voices in opposition to the voter suppression efforts going on in her state.

“A new voter suppression law means tens of thousands of young people could lose their right to vote. They are being disenfranchised by photo ID requirements, arbitrary challenges to residency, and unfounded allegations of fraud,” she writes. So yes, once again photo ID is being called voter suppression.

At least two presidential candidates that we know of have heeded her call to stop voter suppression in New Hampshire. Andrew Yang also wants to lower the voting age to 16:
