We’re not going to recount the Great Chick-fil-A War of 2012 here, but we’re old enough to remember that Sarah Palin was a major player and the whole kerfuffle actually led to a shooting at the Family Research Council by a nut with 15 Chick-fil-A sandwiches in a bag.
Most of the hubbub has died down, with the occasional exception of clowns like Mayor Bill de Blasio actually discouraging New Yorkers from patronizing the city’s new location; maybe he was warming up for Amazon.
We’d truly thought we were done with the whole thing until HuffPost kicked things off again with a piece last summer arguing that “if you care about queer people ― or you yourself are queer ― you have absolutely no business eating at Chick-fil-A. Ever.”
Now HuffPost is at it again, blowing the lid off Chick-fil-A’s corporate donations. And guess what? It’s the same writer and the same piece as last summer, only updated with important new information.

Correction: They donate to groups that generally see the biblical definition of marriage to be a man and a woman. Simple belief in that does not make one anti-LGBTQ. Everyone should have the same rights under the law, regardless of sex preference or anything else.
