There’s no question that Harvard law professor Laurence Tribe has a serious case of Trump Derangement Syndrome, but we thought he still had some grasp on reality. But on Saturday night, with the ghost of Merrick Garland compelling him to tweet, he accused Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell of trying to shut down the House Intelligence Committee. Key word there: House.

1) That's not Mitch McConnell's Twitter account.
2) He's the Senate majority leader. He has nothing to do with the appointment of members to the House Intel Committee. You're making stuff up.
3) This is a conspiracy pushed by Rachel Maddow. The R members will be announced soon. https://t.co/A01x8nsbNl

This makes no sense @tribelaw. What does @SenMajLdr have to do with house committees? https://t.co/BiF6sGlGyX

Yes, the senate majority leader is controlling what people in a Dem led House do… https://t.co/OuhbR10v1i

Question of Twitter etiquette in a polarized climate: will @tribelaw admit his simple error of blaming Senate Majority Leader MCConnell instead of House GOP Leader McCarthy, or will he push conspiracy theory that McConnell controls GOP in both chambers? https://t.co/LlrmTbgjGX

Too bad he didn’t keep the tweet up; he was managing to work up a lot of outrage over those obstructionist Republicans.
Extremely important. It feels like it should almost be against the law to use such delay tactics, doesn't it? Is there anyway to supersede that purposeful inaction? We don't have time to wait. https://t.co/jQYUgRgcPz
