Here’s a nice catch from the folks at the Media Research Center. MSNBC anchor Katy Tur sat down with a liberal evangelical pastor and a conservative evangelical activist Monday, and when the issue of separating families at the border came up, Tur wondered if that wasn’t more offensive to Christians than abortion.

Tur’s liberal guest, Reverend Raphael Warnock of the Ebenezer Baptist Church, railed against President Trump’s “un-Christian” immigration policy of stopping the thousands-strong migrant caravan at the border and spoke against family separations, calling the children separated from their parents “our babies.”
That inspired Tur to turn the issue over to Timothy Head of the Faith and Freedom Coalition:
I’m not sure you’re addressing what the Reverend just said which is if you’re talking about being pro-life and protecting fetuses, protecting babies in the womb. What about the babies who are being taken away from their parents at the border. I get this question a lot from folks when they talk about evangelicals. Why was that not as offensive, if not more, than say, something like abortion?
She gets that question a lot.

I love being told what’s offensive to me

But I thought abortion wasn't offensive

So we can agree abortion is offensive? Well, it’s a start.

So we are in agreement that abortion is offensive.
Now we are just quibbling over what ways to make it less offensive.

So telling someone “no you can’t come here illegally” is worse than murder?

She says abortion is less offensive than border policy? The twisted values of liberals NEVER CEASES to disgust me. I could just vomit in her hair.

So ridiculous! Trump’s border policy was IDENTICAL to the Dems’ until at least 2009!

Don’t get mad at Katy. She is just the monkey. The monkey grinder, that is the person to get mad at.
— Charlie Loomis (@CharlieLoomis) November 6, 2018
The bad thing is that some evangelicals are starting to say the same types of things in attempt to mislead Christians.
