Washington, DC finally gets its own version of NYC's "Pizza Rat"; meet "Fire Alarm Rat"

You probably don’t remember back in 2015 when social media went crazy over a viral video of a rat trying to drag a full slice of pizza down the subway stairs. Really, “pizza rat” was a thing for a few days:

There’s always been a sort of rivalry between New York and Washington, D.C. over things like who has the worst transit system or who has more rats, but now D.C. can claim its own celebrity rat, who managed to pull a fire alarm and evacuate an entire condo.

That rat saved countless lives … is what we’d be saying if there’d been an actual fire.
