The House Judiciary Committee is holding a hearing Tuesday morning to examine charges of misconduct by IRS commissioner John Koskinen, who could be impeached over his role in the alleged targeting of conservative groups applying for tax-exempt status.
Chairman Bob Goodlatte writes that an investigation showed that Koskinen was involved in the “destruction of key evidence, made false statements during his sworn congressional testimony, and did not notify Congress that Lois Lerner’s emails were missing.”

Koskinen will be sending a written statement, as he won’t be attending in person. It seems he’s been too busy traveling and tending to other business to prepare for the hearing.
