Hillary Clinton was the beneficiary of a fundraiser held today in San Francisco’s glitzy Nob Hill neighborhood and hosted by George Clooney and his wife, human rights lawyer Amal Clooney.
It wasn’t Clooney’s home — there’s no way he’d settle for some dump in Nob Hill — but rather that of venture capitalist Shervin Pishevar, who told the Guardian that “only in America would an Iranian-born immigrant son of a taxi driver and maid trying to help elect our first woman president be protested at his home.”

The $350,000 per table fundraiser certainly raised a nice chunk of change for Clinton, but disgusted Bernie Sanders supporters decided to pitch in too — literally — as Clinton’s motorcade passed. Whatever happened to the Scooby van, anyway?

As hard as it is to believe that fans of Bernie Sanders and his economic plan would just throw money at a problem in hopes it would go away, video of the protest proves otherwise.
