'Praying' dismissed as 'official GOP position' on mass shooting while Dems demand a solution

As Twitchy reported, Sen. Ted Cruz was the first of the GOP presidential candidates to tweet in response to the Planned Parenthood shooting in Colorado Springs. Cruz offered prayers for “the loved ones of those killed, those injured and first responders who bravely got the situation under control” and was quickly set upon by those who wanted him to stop praying and “do something.” “Praying does nothing for anyone,” said one follower.

Following today’s mass shooting in San Bernardino, Calif., Republicans were again criticized for offering prayers rather than promises of gun control. Even with practically no details yet available, offers of prayers are a bad thing, because they don’t ban guns or something.

On learning of the shooting, the current Democrat president managed to call for gun control reform and send out a thought to the victims and their families. At least he didn’t mention prayers.

Would Hillary Clinton’s response be negated if she added her thoughts and prayers? Maybe: It’s hard to forget when God was added back into the Democratic party platform in 2012 among loud boos from the crowd at the Democratic convention.

True. And on top of that, the mainstream media’s position now is to find out how close the nearest Planned Parenthood clinic is and if it’s safe.
