The Jeb Bush campaign has been derailed, temporarily at least, by the candidate’s use of the term “anchor baby.” Reporters asked if Bush regretted using such a “offensive” term, to which he countered, “You give me a better term and I’ll use it.”
Hillary Clinton took advantage, offering up her compassionate alternatives.
How about "babies," "children," or "American citizens." https://t.co/ofxEG6Za00

For Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz, her cue to jump in was Bush’s explanation that he was speaking primarily of the anchor babies of Asian people, not Mexicans.
And this is why u can't win using offensive terms @JebBush: Jeb under fire for linking 'anchor babies' to Asians http://t.co/EOn1bkVOI0
