Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter confirmed late Tuesday night that at least five people were killed when an Amtrak train traveling from Washington, D.C., to New York City derailed in Philadelphia with around 240 passengers on board. Nearly 60 passengers were transported to local hospitals and six are reported to be in critical condition.
Mayor Nutter says there are at least five fatalities from the Amtrak 188 derailment.
