Last night, House Democrats on retreat in Philadelphia heard from President Obama, who asked them to join him as he committed to “being out there making the case every single day” for his political agenda. This morning it was Vice President Joe Biden’s turn to address the audience, and by all reports, it was a typical Joe Biden speech.

The only thing missing from that list is the requisite Biden gaffe, and this morning, it was Biden’s admission that the last six years “have been really, really hard for this country.”
