President Obama’s defenders are beginning to push back against those disgusted and embarrassed that neither the president nor vice president could be bothered to join other world leaders in Paris for Sunday’s unity march against terrorism. White House spokesman Josh Earnest admitted to the press today that the United States “should have sent someone with a higher profile.”
Whom did we even send? Attorney General Eric Holder was reportedly in Paris but didn’t make it to the march.
Enough complaining about the United States not sending a representative. Democrat strategist Donna Brazile has nothing but glowing praise for U.S. Ambassador to France Jane Hartley, who was in attendance. Everyone, stand up for Jane.
And let me say thank you to US Ambassador to France Jane Hartley for being part of the massive march in #Paris? Thank you for representing.

Interesting to put a question mark there. Has anyone even confirmed she was there? https://t.co/HYsoroeSWq

@KatMcKinley NBC nightly news showed it. If you like I can take a pic of it.

@KatMcKinley she wasn't anywhere near the front of the pack.
— Mark Kordelski (@delsk) January 12, 2015
No biggie. At least she was there somewhere, right?
.@USAmbFrance thank you for representing us in France and for your decision to participate in the unity March in Paris. And your tweets!

@donnabrazile did Germany send their Ambassador? Israel?… Nice of you to try and make Obama look like less of a putz.

Pictures speak louder than words, so rather than appear in photos, Hartley tweeted some very moving snapshots from her vantage point.

Wow, outstanding work. Let these images work to unify us, not divide us.
How many times will we criticize the Obama Admin for failure to send a high ranking official to Paris over the weekend? #division vs #Unity
— Donna Brazile (@donnabrazile) January 12, 2015
@donnabrazile @JammieWF About as many times as you criticized GWB for landing on an aircraft carrier,so about 2 more months.

@donnabrazile @JammieWF oh so surprised that ms. brazile does not understand why ppl are upset a the lack of leadership/solidarity by BO
— Cathymv – #MAGA (@cathymv) January 12, 2015
@donnabrazile So, we're supposed to unite instead of criticizing a divisive president for not uniting with other leaders? Got it. @JammieWF

Don't care about that. I'm upset he told us "AQ is on the run" yet somehow they've attacked Western World again @donnabrazile @ron_fournier
