President Obama’s support in the entertainment community is all but monolithic, but every once in a while an entertainer will break away and criticize the president and his priorities: gun violence in Chicago, for example. Singer John Legend seems to think President Obama could turn some of his laser focus to the War on Drugs.
Perhaps President @BarackObama will join them. Could be more impactful than all of My Brother's Keeper initiatives combined.

@JulieBorowski @johnlegend @BarackObama Would be great if BO reeled in the War on Drugs. But based on his 6 years in office so far, doubt it

Booker and Paul have co-sponsored a bill that would lessen sentencing for some drug offenses and clear the records of certain non-violent juvenile offenders. But isn’t that Rand Paul guy a Republican?

@PastorFM I'm concerned about a lot of things about Rand Paul. But I've always believed that libertarians and liberals could unite on this.
