Michigan Democratic Rep. John Dingell announced this week that he’ll be retiring at the end of this term after 58 years in Congress. As some expected, Dingell’s wife, Debbie, has said she will run for her husband’s seat.
Debbie Dingell, wife of the man who this week said: "I find serving in the House to be obnoxious," is running for the House.

@ChadPergram Why would he want his wife to get into a bitter, acrimonious Congress he can't wait to get out of?

Good question.
His wife was only two when he was first elected? Will she marry a 20yo after he dies so they can go for 100 years in the seat?

Debbie Dingell is running for @john_dingell's seat. Whew, those people avoid being represented by someone who's worked in the real world.

If Debbie Dingell wins, there will be a Dingell in that Michigan seat from 1932 through at least 2016.
