On day to #RememberTheAborted, Cecile Richards observes Wendy Davis' shoes

Alveda King, niece of civil rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr., minister and pro-life activist, invited the people of Twitter to join her in prayer today, the National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children, to remember the 55 million children aborted in the United States since 1973.

Tweeters used the #RememberTheAborted hashtag to spread the word, organize vigils and solicit prayers.

We checked with some of the larger players in the pro-abortion industry to see if they too might take a moment to remember the aborted. Even Planned Parenthood can’t object to a day of reflection, right? So far today, there’s been no acknowledgement of the National Remembrance from @ppact, @joanwalsh, @NARAL, @AIsForOrg, @SandraBernhard, @SandraFluke, @MarthaPlimpton or @LizzWinstead. Planned Parenthood’s Cecile Richards did join a group of visitors to genuflect before a signed pair of Sen. Wendy Davis’ shoes, though.
