The Guardian’s Glenn Greenwald received a promotion of sorts tonight when Anderson Cooper and CNN elevated him from journalist to “whistleblower” for his part in passing along the details of the NSA’s PRISM program. If Edward Snowden has cable TV wherever he is in Russia, he has to be insulted.
“@kgosztola Why is @AC360 labeling @ggreenwald as whistleblower? He is a journalist. pic.twitter.com/REPKJIm8Km”

@kgosztola @AC360 15min in and he's still labeled a "whistleblower"

@AC360 Greenwald is a journalist, not a "whistleblower." Why must you play that game?

@AC360 @CNN @andersoncooper @ggreenwald is not the "whistleblower" Anderson, he's the journalist who reported FOR the whistleblower

@John_Hudson @kgosztola @AC360 Who exactly approved that graphic? The guy is a reporter. Not a whistleblower

“Doctor Who” star John Barrowman had a different take on the same graphic.
