Geraldo Rivera: Wearing a hoodie like flying a pirate flag

Geraldo Rivera eventually broke down and apologized for tweeting last year that Trayvon Martin’s hoodie was just as responsible for his death as was George Zimmerman’s gun. “I am urging the parents of black and Latino youngsters particularly to not let their children go out wearing hoodies,” Rivera told the hosts of “Fox and Friends.” In light of the massive backlash and his subsequent apology, it’s surprising that Rivera is reviving the hoodie debate. Last year he argued that hoodies were “gangsta.” But what’s this about the Jolly Roger?
