Ted Cruz has a reputation for zinging his political opponents on Twitter, but his contribution today to the ongoing fight over proposed abortion restrictions in Texas was reasonably subdued and consisted of a link to his sober written testimony. “I submit to you,” Cruz wrote, “that this legislation is a reasonable step to take after the disturbing revelations of Gosnell, and others.”

Rep. Steve Stockman, however, pulled no punches in his tweets today, handily enraging abortion advocates with a series of posts in support of S.B. 1.
