You’ll see a lot of headlines today calling attention to Weather Underground bomber Bill Ayers characterizing President Obama as a “terrorist.” Don’t get too excited, though; in an easygoing interview with Real Clear Politics, Ayers noted that every U.S. president this century “absolutely” should be tried for war crimes.
Obama actually comes across quite well in the interview. Despite the fact that Ayers gives Obama an “F” and not the “solid B-plus” the president gave himself, Ayers calls Obama “a really good guy” and is impressed that “he reads.” Bush was killing people with drones too, but he was functionally illiterate, right?
Suddenly conservatives see Bill Ayers as an important voice whose proclamations mean something? That's interesting.

What do you mean suddenly? Conservatives thought Ayers’ proclamations were well worth paying attention to back in 2008, when liberals were content that he was just a guy who lived in Barack Obama’s neighborhood.
On this point we are now in agreement with @BarackObama, who launched his political campaign in Chez Ayers @ThePlumLineGS

@AceofSpadesHQ @ThePlumLineGS my only thought was that when someone who used to claim they "launched your career" turns on you, it's big

@AceofSpadesHQ @ThePlumLineGS Granted Ayers wants to charge every President in the last century with War crimes, so clearly also crazy.

@AceofSpadesHQ @ThePlumLineGS But he has an academic appointment, and I do not, so also I clearly need to emulate crazy #lessonlearned

@AnnCoulter Ayers figures if he makes enough noise he could get a job in the Exec. Branch. Always an agenda. Never the obvious.
