Gary Sinise's Lt. Dan Band plays benefits for Afghanistan veterans

Proceeds from a Lt. Dan Band concert in Easton, Pa., last night will help to build a home for Army Sgt. Adam Keys, who lost a hand and both legs to a roadside bomb while serving in Afghanistan. Bass player and “CSI: NY” star Gary Sinise tweeted a photo from backstage following the show.

“Please don’t look at me for my losses,” Keys told the sold-out house. “Look at me for my gains.”

The band played a show in Marietta, Ohio, the previous night to build a customized house for Army SPC Hockenberry, who lost both legs and his left arm to an IED while in Afghanistan.
