Three men who marched with tiki torches back in 2017 are now facing criminal charges

Look, this editor has no love for the mob that carried tiki torches through Charlottesville in 2017. That photo of the one dork holding his tiki torch at the front of the pack gave the Left material to attack the Right for months. Just a search of our archives for “Charlottesville” brings up dozens of posts, because every liberal did what they could to use it to paint all Republicans — especially President Trump — as white supremacists, even though it was quickly condemned by Trump and other high-profile Republicans. Joe Biden even made mention of the Charlotteville hoax — the idea that Trump has said the neo-Nazis were “very fine people” — central to his video announcing his candidacy.

However …

That was in 2017. Now it’s 2023, and the Washington Post is reporting that they’ve found a charge they can use to indict at least three men involved in the rally.

That’s what prosecutors will try to prove in court.

Again, we have no love for these guys, but to wait six years to indict them for trying to intimidate with burning tiki torches? The tiki torches were just stupid.

How’s the release of Audrey Hale’s manifesto coming?
