Last we heard from Harvard’s David Hogg, he was working on a paper on the Second Amendment for his constitutional law class. He’ll probably get an A+ for the same reason Harvard granted him admission over much more gifted young people. Hogg’s takes on the Second Amendment are universally terrible, but Keith Olbermann got triggered by a tweet Thursday that led him to lay down the hammer on gun ownership.

Thanks for clearing that up! Usually, they go after the “musket” argument or the “well-regulated” argument. But if the founders had meant for people to own guns, they would have put the word “own” in there.

Because it says "the right of the *people* to *keep* and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." The word you're looking for in that is "keep". Means the same as own. Kind of covers it. I mean this isn't that hard to understand and comprehend even if you're not all that competent.
