Reuters White House correspondent Steve Holland was good enough to get us a still shot of President Joe Biden boarding Air Force One for a trip to Virginia Beach. There’s no video, though, so we don’t know if Biden tripped up the steps again.

The mayor of East Palestine, Ohio made it clear it was a slap in the face for Biden to blow off the train derailment there and spend Presidents Day in Ukraine with his checkbook and some fake air raid sirens to ramp up the drama.
So why is Biden going to Virginia Beach? 13News Now reports:
Press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said Biden would use the Virginia Beach event Tuesday to criticize Republicans for demanding concessions for raising the nation’s borrowing limit, while tying the GOP to policy proposals that he says would raise health care prices.
“The President will discuss his plan to protect Americans’ access to affordable health care, and he will highlight how Congressional Republicans would raise health care costs – including for seniors, and cause millions of people to lose their coverage,” the White House said in a press release.

The last time Biden visited Hampton Roads was in May 2021 as part of his “Get America Back on Track Tour.”
