Lincoln Project pounces on Jeb Bush's endorsement of Gov. Ron DeSantis

In case you missed it, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush has already come out and made his endorsement for 2024, and it’s Gov. Ron DeSantis. We were as excited by the news as you were. But the Lincoln Project, which we’re told is made up of former Republican campaign consultants, pounced (or seized if you prefer) on the endorsement.

After DeSantis enjoyed a 19-point blowout win last November (despite the best efforts of the Lincoln Project to prop up Democrat Charlie Crist), they warned us not to be fooled, and that DeSantis is nothing more than “a more polished, but equally evil, version of Trump.”

You know the Lincoln Project losers are rooting for Donald Trump to win the nomination, so they’re lending their considerable creative talents to taking DeSantis out of the picture.

How many tens of thousands of dollars do you think they paid themselves for this awesome meme?

Rick Wilson would have jumped at the chance to run Jeb Bush’s presidential campaign.

They’ll never top sending kids in matching khakis to stand in front of Glenn Youngkin’s campaign bus holding tiki torches.
