As Twitchy reported earlier, President Joe Biden gave a presentation on inflation in which he was expected to put the blame on those “ultra-MAGA” Republicans who are getting in his way, despite the Dems controlling Congress and the White House. Biden said a lot of stupid things — and some incomprehensible things — but when asked why Americans think his administration isn’t doing enough to fight inflation, Biden suggested they just don’t understand, and it’s up to him to explain it in simple terms.
Reporter: "Why do you believe so many Americans believe your administration is not doing enough to combat inflation?"
Biden: "They're not focused…I think what I have to do is explain in simple, straightforward language what’s going on." pic.twitter.com/9S9uw7uwAh

This is all your fault, the President explained. https://t.co/mbkbjWEnU0

Why do we keep failing him?!

My bad, Joe. I'll pick it up

He really does think we’re morons.

"I'm not doing a bad job, you're just too stupid to realize I'm doing a good job."
President of Unity, ladies and gentlemen

Let Harris explain it. Inflation is high, that's bad. Gas prices are high, that's bad too. Going back in time, time is important, inflation was low and that was good. Gas prices were low and that was good. There was no war, that was good. Now we are at war, that's bad. Simple.

In case you didn’t think Biden was serious about dumbing it down, check out this tweet:
I happen to think it’s a good thing when American families have more money in their pockets at the end of the month.
But Republicans in Congress don’t seem to think so. Their plan is going to make working families poorer.

What is this Tweet supposed to accomplish? What specifically are you talking about? Who is your audience and do they know what you are talking about? Your communications strategy and messaging needs A LOT of work.

Funny, because I had more money in my pockets when Trump was in charge.

I had double the money in my pocket when republicans were in office

It's not a good thing when we can't afford gas and groceries. In other words, what money in our pockets? You just don't get it….
— Rick Farmer (@FarmerRick) May 10, 2022
God, you are such a liar.
— Jesse Pinkman’s Roomba (@corrcomm) May 10, 2022
Dude, we can’t get much poorer under you. We were fine. All you had to do was nothing. You couldn’t help yourself.
— Buzz Patterson (@BuzzPatterson) May 10, 2022
Joe, everything you've done since Day 1 has made me more poor and less financially stable, so I don't know why you want to blame the people who aren't even in charge.
— BWC617 (@bwc617) May 10, 2022
You are a liar with a spending addiction that’ll make inflation ‘expodentially’ worse

Biden’s “folksy” garbage was annoying enough when he was a candidate, but now some social media intern is in charge of sounding condescending. Biden apparently could explain inflation to us if we’d just focus and he used simpler words.
