Remember a week ago when the big news was a federal judge striking down the Biden administration’s mask mandate for airplanes and public transportation? Paul Krugman, who’s famously wrong about everything, predicted that soon we’d be seeing those people choosing to wear a KN95 mask becoming the victims of harassment and even violence — “because this was never about freedom.”
Krugman apparently had missed the previous two years of people who chose not to wear a mask being harassed and threatened. We did quite a few posts on people without masks being stalked in grocery and craft stores and literal mobs forming.
There’s a video going around Tuesday of what appears to be a Costco employee being threatened and then assaulted by a customer for not wearing a mask:
