As Newsbustersâ Nicholas Fondacaro pointed out earlier this week, Brian Stelter, in an episode of âReliable Sources Dailyâ this week on breakout subscription service CNN+, had on as a guest one of those purple-haired teachers whoâd been featured by Libs of Tik Tok and who claimed, without pushback, âKids are dying because of this!â (Remember when CNN got clever with its chyrons like, âTrump Claims ⊠(Without Evidence)â?) Stelter himself said that Floridaâs Parental Rights in Education law was âa life and death issueâ (without evidence).
He was so fired up, he marched right back to his office (for now) and typed up a post on how the root of the conflict between Disney and Gov. Ron DeSantis was perfectly clear: âGOP backlash to LGBTQ equality.â
Itâs only because of Fondacaro that anyone saw Stelterâs show, and the woman behind Libs of Tik Tok eventually caught up with the segment, which said that her account âeven helped inform Floridaâs recent parental rights law.â
Brian Stelter: âItâs [Libs of TikTok] even helped inform Florida's recent parental rights law"
If true, this is one of the biggest accomplishments of my life and I will wear it with a badge of honor. We must protect innocent young kids. pic.twitter.com/ngPmsVNMjr

Your account tweeting this single clip has given CNN+ more views and attention than theyâve received on their own since launching. đ Nobody would have seen this otherwise. You have the power. đđ»

It boggles my mind that, even after losing so many viewers, CNN and MSNBC keep doubling down on their narratives. Even traditional left-leaning folks canât stand them anymore.

A badge of honor from an unreliable source

Itâs like no one remembers Youngkin and VA

Exactly. âParentâs rightsâ have been in the Leftâs sights for a while now.
I really donât understand the push to label this page as anti-LGBTâŠ
The people you expose are INSANE.
Gays donât want these people around us, let alone around kids !!! regardless of their sexuality !

As a Floridian, I canât thank @libsoftiktok and @GovRonDeSantis enough! You both are the real MVPâs

Did he say âletâs be honestâ

Just before lightning struck the transmitter.
Itâs Immeasurable but undeniable, the impact youâve had, all by yourself. Your efforts have empowered parents with the information theyâve needed to protect kids. Thank you.

I put you in the same category as Chris Rufo, and thatâs meant as the highest compliment.

As Twitchy noted, in his piece for CNNâs website, Stelter finally called the Parental Rights in Education bill by its actual name â but only after lowercasing it and putting âscare quotesâ around it.
