On Monday, in anticipation of President Joe Biden signing the infrastructure bill into law, Press Secretary Jenn Psaki explained how during the Obama administration Biden was tasked with keeping an eye on how taxpayer dollars were spent under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. That’s why they called him “Sheriff Joe” around the White House.
