Liberals who respect Ronald Reagan are lying — they’re just glad he’s not Trump, or Bush — and conservatives who revere Reagan as perhaps the greatest president of their lifetimes don’t consider his granting amnesty to illegal immigrants the highlight of his tenure in office. The Daily Beast’s Sam Stein quoted Reagan Monday “in the context of today’s politics” and (rightfully) assumed Reagan might have a primary challenge on his hands.
