If we’re not mistaken, the person who guest-edited Politico’s Playbook the day before was MSNBC’s Chris Hayes, and the person who guest-edited the following day was CNN’s Don Lemon. But as Twitchy reported at the time, Politico’s editor-in-chief hosted a 3 p.m. conference call Jan. 14 to discuss the uproar over letting Ben Shapiro guest-edit Playbook for one day. Reportedly there were more than 225 people on the Zoom call.

Now we’re learning from The Daily Beast that more than 100 Politico staffers have signed a letter “expressing disgust” that Shapiro was invited to guest-edit. We’d thought the crying would have been over more than a week ago, but we were wrong.

Seriously.
