Mollie Hemingway marks the four-year anniversary of that infamous Oval Office 'transition' meeting

As Twitchy reported, we learned this spring from declassified documents that January 5, 2017, was a big day at the White House. There was an all-hands-on-deck meeting in the Oval Office including the usual suspects: FBI Director James Comey, CIA Director Joh Brennan, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, National Security Advisor Susan Rice, Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates, and Vice President Joe Biden, among others.

We also learned that the day before the big meeting, Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, along with FBI General Counsel James Baker, searched for the Logan Act statute, and notes say that Biden brought up using the Logan Act against Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn the following day, even though it passed in 1799 and was only prosecuted twice, in 1802 and 1852. “I knew nothing about those moves to investigate Michael Flynn,” Biden later told George Stephanopoulos.

The Federalist’s Molly Hemingway reminds us that this is the four-year anniversary of that momentous meeting in the Oval Office.

Hemingway writes:

An analysis of the timeline from early 2017 shows a clear pattern of behavior from the federal officials running the collusion operation against the Trump campaign. It also shows how essential media leaks were to their strategy to sideline key law enforcement and intelligence officials and cripple the ability of the incoming Trump administration to run the country.

This stunning operation was not just a typical battle between political foes, nor merely an example of media bias against political enemies. Instead, this entire operation was a deliberate and direct attack on the foundation of American governance. In light of the newly declassified documents released in recent days, it is clear that understanding what happened in that January 5 Oval Office meeting is essential to understanding the full scope and breadth of the corrupt operation against the Trump administration.

And now Biden is getting the old gang back together, including Susan Rice.

The mainstream media didn’t touch any of this, but it all came out in declassified documents. And remember, Biden didn’t know anything about the plan to charge Flynn under the Logan Act.
