As Twitchy reported, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, aka Alex from the Bronx, has moved into a “bougie” Washington D.C. apartment and took to Instagram Monday night to ask her followers frantic questions about the apartment’s garbage disposal, which she called “a monster in my sink” that was “yelling at me.” “This is terrifying” … LOL.

Myth No. 1 is that there are blades down inside that thing’s mouth … but are there monster teeth? Is there an actual monster in your sink?

You decide … was InSinkErator going to post that anyway this week or did they really think they had to do some emergency damage control?
Also, is it just grown women who are terrified of garbage disposals, or do men get scared too but just won’t admit it?
