As Twitchy has reported, companies are pulling their ads from “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” supposedly over Carlson’s comments on illegal immigrants. Et tu, iHOP?
This exodus of advertisers has led the Daily Wire’s Ryan Saavedra to ask if it’s time for a counter-boycott.
Leftists masquerading around as "journalists" are promoting boycotts of Fox News' Tucker Carlson but said nothing after CNN's Don Lemon made blatantly racist remarks and MSNBC's Mika Brzezinski used homophobic slurs to attack Mike Pompeo.
Is it time to launch a counter-boycott?
— Ryan Saavedra (@RealSaavedra) December 19, 2018
Yeah, what consequences did Mika Brzezinski ever face for calling Secretary of State Mike Pompeo “a wannabe dictator’s butt boy”? And that was quite a broad bush Don Lemon used when he declared that “the biggest terror threat in this country is white men, most of them radicalized to the right.”
I noted those two examples on my radio show this morning. Lemon straight up said white men were the biggest problem in America, and accused them of being radicalized.
No peep out of any activist groups now clutching pearls over Carlson's out of context statement. https://t.co/chu9rBNaTc

Are you suggesting there’s some hypocrisy in the MSM and how they cover the Right vs the Left ?

The counter boycott against CNN is in full force. More people in the US watch Nick at Night than CNN.

Good point. Carlson crushes CNN in the ratings; if advertisers actually want their ads seen, Fox News is the place to run them.
if no one watches is it a boycott or status quo?
— chump (@echump) December 19, 2018
Boycott what, the 200 people watching them every day…
— Bud Hill (@bhill_0304) December 19, 2018
Haha. Not sure a counter-boycott would make much of a difference, considering that Don and Mika's ratings have been so stellar. Haha.

Considering the low @CNN ratings and what a Lemon ? Lemon is this probably won’t have much impact. These coconuts tried that with Laura Ingraham, that worked out well
— @tb ??????????????✌️✌? (@KingsCrown436) December 19, 2018
No. No one watches them anyway. Look at the ratings. Advertisers want viewers. Viewers aren't on CNN or MSNBC.
— Mike ZooLoo (@MikeZooLoo) December 19, 2018
The left don't watch Fox news anyway, so this boycott is just empty words. Don't feel threatened.
— Stella Cobb (@HongThaoPhan) December 19, 2018
The left do buy products though, products that have a choice whether to fund Fox with ads. Fox is propaganda propping up a neo-fascist movement that colludes with foreign powers. If the choice is funding that or switch toothpaste brands, the left will switch brands.

They can’t refute one thing that Tucker has said. This ‘boycott’ is all about hurt feelings and trying to silence people.
— Benjamin Roberts (@bennoba) December 19, 2018
Tucker's viewership is still ten fold larger than all those lame ducks anyways. Let them protest while the rest of us MAGA
— Ligma Bowles (@_trebla21) December 19, 2018
Let’s not forget the homophobe @JoyAnnReid !
As much as I want to push a boycott of these hypocrites, it’s not what we as conservatives do.
— SETH WEATHERS (@sethweathers) December 19, 2018
It’s true. Leftists are the ones who try to bully people with opposing views into silence however they can.
Yes, but it won’t happen. Those of us that are conservatives, libertarians, or centrists don’t do this kind of activism. It’s effective, but it’s sleazy, egotistical, childish, self-absorbed, plus, we all have jobs. So…
