Wow … the Seattle Times reports Tuesday that Mayor Ed Murray has resigned after a fifth person — this one a younger cousin — came forward to accuse the mayor of sexual abuse. Murray will resign his post at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
Being a Democrat, Murray unfortunately will have to face that difficult media environment that Hillary Clinton spoke of Tuesday — the same national media that has let charges of child sex abuse fly under the radar since April.

What party does the Seattle mayor belong to? https://t.co/joFfG5HQ0p

Let’s see …
Murray, 62, a former Democratic state legislator, has repeatedly denied that he sexually abused anyone, contending the accusations are part of a political takedown targeting him for his progressive politics and record as a gay-rights champion.
Murray attributed Dyer’s claims to bad blood between two estranged wings of the family.
"Murray, 62, a former Democratic state legislator…"
So, former Democrat I guess. LOL.

I thought this was the type of "progressive" bs Seattleites love to boast about?
