The heat must be getting to Bernie Sanders, now that more and more Democrats who were once sympathetic are urging him to drop out of the race and let Hillary Clinton just get on with her coronation.
Sanders made a run for the border Saturday, but it’s not clear if he was trying to make it to Venezuela to run for president there instead, let in more Democrat voters, or just say hi on his way to a campaign event in California.

Separated families? That’s sad. Someone should do something.
@BernieSanders The family in US can't immigrate to Mexico?

But really, what was with the photo op at the border?
@thehill Why? And why is he touching the fence like that?
— San Medra (@SanMedra) May 22, 2016
He’s probably sending Mexico a #BernieLoveWave™.
.@BernieSanders You are our redeeming light in the darkness. Never before have I been so inspired 2 volunteer & give back. #BernieLoveWave

The metal fence must be causing interference with the love wave, because people are having trouble picking it up on this side.
@BernieSanders Somebody take his passport and throw him over the fence.

@thehill "Hello? If I get you into the U.S. would you vote for me? I need all the help I can get…"
