Vice President Joe Biden is scheduled to introduce Ke$ha at the Oscars tomorrow night, but it’s President Obama who has two Grammy Awards for the spoken-word versions of his books, and whose spontaneous version of “Amazing Grace” from Charleston was sampled on the newest Coldplay album.
Last night, the White House hosted a tribute to Ray Charles, and once again, the president took up a microphone and gave his singing voice an airing, resulting in a flood of tweets naming him the “coolest president ever.” Sorry, Bill Clinton, but you know where you can put that saxophone.
.@POTUS is back for his encore. Don't miss him take the mic tonight at 9pm ET on @PBS. #RayCharlesTribute pic.twitter.com/xcwq6oVvZI
