While Thursday’s news was largely dominated by coverage of protests and marches in cities across the nation in solidarity with Baltimore, we’d feel bad if we didn’t take at least a quick detour to Crawford, Texas for something completely different: the kickoff of the Bush Presidential Center’s fifth annual Warrior 100K. The three-day event will see George W. Bush mountain biking with nearly 20 wounded warriors injured in Afghanistan and Iraq.

An amazing day in Crawford. @georgewbush and the #W100K riders finishing the day's ride strong!
