Protesters and police are once again actively clashing following the funeral today of #FreddieGray. Mondawmin Mall in northwest Baltimore closed early today and has become a hotspot of activity, as police in full riot gear confront young demonstrators reportedly throwing bottles and bricks.

Few hrs ago, I was getting coffee at this mall. Now it looks like a war zone. "They're throwing mace" one teen says pic.twitter.com/COlVGZNf4v

Both CNN and Fox News happened to cut to a live helicopter shot of the scene just as a young man ran up to the line of police and pulled down his pants — an improvement of sorts over the flaming garbage cans being thrown Saturday night.

Unfortunately, harmless mooning of the police soon turned to hurling of bricks. Baltimore Sun reporter Erica Green was dispatched to the scene, which she described as “all out war.”
Here at Mondawmin. Students everywhere. Police line. Officers are ducking bricks and bottles being thrown at them. Crazy.
