What a scoop! The president has (reportedly) been spending the weekend at the White House putting the finishing touches on his State of the Union address, part of which will include his effort to reduce taxes on the middle class. Before you dismiss the report outright, consider that the New York Times adds that the president will propose to make up the difference by raising taxes and fees on the wealthiest Americans.

Free community college, faster Internet speeds, and now lower taxes? We can’t wait to vote for this guy in 2016.
@nytimes Oh, yeah? How's he gonna do that?

But he's not even good at that. Find something voters want, THEN falsely promise you'll provide it. @PatriotsFlame @exjon Obama = demagogue.
— jon gabriel (@exjon) January 18, 2015
@exjon @PatriotsFlame not about succeeding in cong. It's about flaming more class warfare. Same shit, different day.
— roy fletcher (@indiegop) January 18, 2015
@indiegop @exjon Sadly, class warfare works with the low information crowd. Has since the rise of Greek democracy. And it's fall.
— Béarnaise (@PatriotsFlame) January 18, 2015
Again, just like community college.. He knows this won't pass. He wants the talking point. This is not a serious President & never has been
