On Saturday night, Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham took a shot at Sen. Ted Cruz, blaming Cruz’s “tactics” and “missteps” — that is, insisting on a point of order on whether President Obama’s executive amnesty is constitutional — for forcing a weekend session of the Senate and allowing Speaker Harry Reid and the still-Democrat controlled Senate to push through even more nominations, including Obama’s pick for surgeon general, Dr. Vivek Murthy.
CAP Action, a group working alongside American Progress and ThinkProgress, had its shot at Cruz aimed and ready to tweet the minute Murthy was confirmed.

Good gosh, the panel on @SpecialReport goes all RINO and trashes Ted Cruz, while Grubering those citizens that support him & get his stand

POTUS does not thank Sen. Cruz for the Vivek Murty nomination.

Cruz communications director Amanda Carpenter again insisted that Reid had no intention of adjourning the Senate without pushing through every nominee possible.

Do you guys really believe Cruz, Lee et al, allowed 24 Obama nominees to be confirmed who wouldn’t have otherwise been? Asking sincerely.

@DavidLimbaugh these same people voted in 2013 to give Reid more power and chew up the cloture clock https://t.co/VvjRwpI9k6

@DavidLimbaugh @RMConservative Literally, the argument that Reid wasn't going to ram these guys through comes straight out of the Onion

Cruz criticizers the same people who defended funding Obamacare because it would collapse under its own weight.

GOP: 1/21/11 until Friday: We can't make Harry Reid do anything.
GOP on Friday: Reid was our bitch until Cruz came along.

Harry Reid went nuclear (and the GOP did nothing in retaliation) but he was just going to let nominations die.
Sure.
