FBI Director James Comey today testified before the Senate Homeland Security Committee that he has no objection to members of Congress interviewing survivors of the Sept. 11, 2012 terrorist attacks in Benghazi, Libya.
"Speaking from my perspective I don't have an objection to that"–Comey

However, as Sharyl Attkisson reports, that still leaves the hurdle of the State Department. Sen. Lindsey Graham was not at the hearing but did speak to CBS News, asking, “How can you close the file on Benghazi when the only people who have talked to the survivors is the administration?”
Sen. Graham says despite the FBI Director saying it's ok to interview Benghazi witnesses, he has to get past the State Dept. which says no.

State Dept. has told Sen. Graham that interviewing survivors could compromise the FBI's investigation.
