A series of explosions is being reported early Wednesday morning in Taiyuan City, China, outside the Communist Party Headquarters.
Yahoo News reports:
The blasts occurred at around 7.40am on Wednesday, according to reports on Chinese social media. Seven explosions were heard, the Beijing Youth Daily said in a microblog post.
The explosions were triggered by small explosive devices, the Shanxi provincial government said on its website. One person has been wounded and two cars have been damaged, the site said citing Taiyuan police.
Metal ball bearings have been found at the site of the explosions, the state-run Xinhua news agency said.
CCTV says more than twenty vehicles have been damaged. The national broadcaster said the explosive devices were hidden in roadside flowerbeds.
