As Twitchy reported earlier, the U.S. Navy released an official biography of alleged Washington Navy Yard shooter Aaron Alexis this evening.

On such a dark day, some found comic relief in the fact that the Navy’s official document on Alexis was printed in the universally reviled typeface Comic Sans. Does the Navy keep all of its important documents in Comic Sans, or do they reserve that for public releases related to mass murder?

Very professional work, Navy. Comic Sans was the right choice. http://t.co/VE45OfNL05 via @lisatozzi

Did the same person who typed up Alexis’ background in Comic Sans also perform his background check, by any chance?
