U.N. Ambassador Samantha Power is still in her first month on the job, and so far she’s conducted a fair share of outreach via Twitter. No one needed to be reminded that the deaths of hundreds of children is a horrible thing, but Power seems to be making the case that the use of chemical weapons calls for … something. If this is the first part of a sales pitch, people are anxious to hear the rest.
Findings of our assessment on #Syria are clear, and there's a reason after WWI the civilized world agreed CWs should never again be used.

@niawag2011 @AmbassadorPower So the solution to the defiant & monstrous flouting of a major taboo is…?

@AmbassadorPower Had the same human beings been slaughtered with different weapons there would be different stance from the WH

Samantha Power must be throwing the GOP into a mind warp. She's as hawkish as them but for humanitarian reasons rather than oil.

Last week she made it clear she wanted the “perps” brought to justice quickly. Like we said, she’s still new on the job.
Reports devastating: 100s dead in streets, including kids killed by chem weapons. UN must get there fast & if true, perps must face justice.
