Today at the United Nations, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad issued an irrelevant piece of “noise” about Israel that you can be sure our illustrious president will calmly “block out.”
Via Reuters:
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Monday Israel has no roots in the Middle East and would be “eliminated,” ignoring a U.N. warning to avoid incendiary rhetoric ahead of the annual General Assembly session.
Nothing to panic about, just a declaration that the nation of Israel will be “eliminated.” Nothing to see here, people. Move along.
I guess to Obama this is just noise. No wonder his credibility is lower than mainstream media’s. http://t.co/sF6j2u4Z

Ahmadinejad warns Israel will be "eliminated…but not by the nuclear bombs we aren't building in our bomb non-making plant"

No, he can’t be serious about that; he must have meant something else. Maybe “eliminated” is too harsh of a translation.
@ZNovetsky I'm sure he means "lovingly embraced in everlasting brotherhood."

Or maybe he just meant “eliminated.” You know: “gone,” “wiped out,” “blown out of existence.” Still, it’s just a little annoyance, and we can be sure that our president is doing the right thing by tuning it out and chilling on the couch with Joy Behar.
