Hmm…
One more time for those not clear on sign Lochte scratched. It was a Shell Select sandwich sign that the gas station gets for free.

The Rio police chief claimed that Lochte and his teammates vandalized a bathroom, smashing mirrors and breaking soap dispensers.
But the fact is, the only thing damaged was a “loosely attached” sandwich sign that the gas station gets for free.
And that’s not the only thing the Rio police lied about.
1. Said there was damage to bathroom – no damage, 3 minutes of surveillance video missing & Originally said no gun, was gun.

Meanwhile, eyewitnesses confirm Lochte’s story that they were robbed at gunpoint.
Lochte’s embellishments were immaterial–he claimed the gun was put to his forehead, when really it was pointed at him from 5 feet away. Still armed robbery.
Transaction was at gunpoint, was it not? That alarmed bystander. RT @patilevius: (3) swimmers gave $50 total. Was Lochte really robbed???

Lochte was robbed, and the Rio police claimed he wasn’t.
Looks like Lochte & co didn't trash any bathroom and were basically robbed by off-duty cops. https://t.co/8hSSwVEaVT

Lochte lost sponsorships and became a laughing stock over nothing.
