It’s turned out to be a hell of a day for MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell. After that video of him losing it on his crew late last month surfaced, people had a field day. And can you blame them? O’Donnell’s kind of easy to pick on, what with his off-putting personality and all-around craziness.
Inquiring minds wanted to know: What would O’Donnell say when he found out everyone had seen his mini-meltdowns? Tonight, they got their answer when he took to Twitter to issue an apology:
A better anchorman and a better person would've had a better reaction to technical difficulties. I'm sorry.

He’s right about that. But good on him for copping to less-than-model behavior. His MSNBC colleagues aren’t exactly known for owning up to their mistakes.
It was worth it for this hammertime splice! If your crew accepted the apology, that's all that matters. Move on, @Lawrence "do it live!" ??

And after he moves on …
Please tell me you now have "Hammertime" as your ringtone now due to having a sense of humor.

OK, that would be awesome.
